A stark view of the canal. This one has the inglorious name of "Main Outlet Drain." I walked back home along the road on the left side of the picture. That's the 4th Avenue/Winterhaven Bridge. Behind me are the rest of the bridges--I - 8, plus the historic Ocean-to-Ocean, and the railroad bridge. On my left is Colorado River State Historic Park (Quartermaster Landing). I was a docent there until recently, but had to quit because I have to have a flexible schedule right now.
