Following the colored tape, a special find.. an "old growth" Ponderosa Pine; It was a beauty and I would have taken a pic looking UP TREE but it was raining like crazy at this point in the hike & I needed a 3rd hand to hold---> camera/gps/hiking pole & my crome-dome umbrella;
