I am at Whiskey Spring. (AFAIK.) I didn't see (nor hear) any water. But I did see this metal post. I wonder if there had been a sign on it at one time? And if so, what did it say? I'm guessing this is marking the Spring, because why would anyone haul a post and a large sledge hammer (presumably) and work to pound it into the ground here? (And presumably, a long time about before the trees made it impossible to do.)
