Heading out on Jacobs Crosscut Trail. Across the wash, you'll find a firepit. There are two trails leading away from this location. Take a right here and follow the fencing NOT A LEFT! Eventually you will come to another intersection where you'll take a left about a quarter mile from this firepit. This is the Crosscut Trail. The Crosscut Trail is VERY apparent with rocks bordering it's sides occasionaly. If you don't see this, you're probably on the wrong trail. I went left when I first started out this day and ended up having to go cross country to get back on track.
