And to cap off what was already a most incredible day in my hiking life, we were greeted by this as Wendy drove around a corner. Unfortunately, it was late and we were cold so we didn't spend too much time photographing this. The moon really was much larger and the dark areas were very prominent though you can't tell that by this photo.
