ok - i'm officially confused on the scarlet bugler vs. golden beard penstemon debate. wikipedia says they are one and the same. and then there's another flower called the superb penstemon that seems to have the same petal structure. and this one doesn't all hang at various heights, but rather goes every direction at the same height. i'm hoping the leaves help out those flora folks in id-ing this one correctly.
