Different trip, these next shots are the huge pines in Douglas Canyon off the East Divide. To me these few trees were paleozoic in presentation, huge, bigger than anything around them, This one I could lay against it with my arms outstretched and I was almost flat, didn't begin to wrap around the trunk. Of course, I have no way to judge my memory and nothing to emphasize their size.
