Where's the trail.? The snow was upto 6 feet deep for a distance of about 2 miles completely hiding the trail. I relied on the trail route shown on the Garmin Topo US 24K West map and found it to be accurate. The spring snow was hard enough to walk on and actually makes off-trail hiking easier.
