The infamous falls. Yep, I crossed at the trail, but not totally safely (see trip report).
On glacierchat.com, they are actually doing a count this year to see how many people stay upright. "Persons who hike the Gunsight Trail are requested to honestly report, without undue embarrassment or undue bravado as the case may be, the results of their crossing the waterfall on the trail at the head of Lake Ellen Wilson."
From the tally counter: "As the self appointed referee of the waterfall tally,
I just wanted to point out that only crossing at the trail should count. Crossing above or below the trail crossing is off-sides and a yellow card will have to be issued on the play."
"And just to clarify, crossing the waterfall using a portable backpack bridge or a portable catapult should not be counted either."
