I hadn't been to the Dam for many decades. I had just scanned a picture of my folks and their friends standing at this very place in 1955 so I had Ambika take a pic of me here. Hopefully I'll get to see it.

At 564 feet (172 m) in height, the dam was the third largest dam, and second highest concrete dam, in the world at the time of its completion in 1953.
