This is such a cool section of the trail. In fact, the whole trail from the TH to Scout's Lookout could seriously spoil a person. I couldn't get over how much easier it is to hike up when you have a nice smooth trail. Don't know who these people are in the picture but sometimes you just gotta run with it.
