Honestly. I've never seen a USGS map so blatantly erroneous. In the red circle you'll find the 500-foot spire, which is at least 200-feet higher than Summit Peak. Not a contour to be seen. Very strange. The contours are 40-feet. There should be at least 15 contour lines indicating the spire here!
