I think the white powder is some sort of drug, probably meth or cocaine. It came from a satchel bag found under the sleeping bag, along with a bunch of pills. Smugglers use a lot of stimulants to stay awake for days on end. It is still sitting there where I found it, should any LE want to pad his seizure stats. Easy hike.
