This was the only wall with the remains of the wood roof beams. It appears that the roof was destroyed by fire leaving only the charred remains of the beams in the wall. These beams ends were small compared to those in other SA cliff dwellings. The remains of a larger roof beam was found laying on the ground at another wall.
