Flørli is a hydro plant. Water feeds from a lake on the mountain top and powers generators. There is a maintenance stairway that is open to the public. I had it on a list of possible side excursions but decided against it. It is the longest stairway in Europe at 4,444 steps. The stairway is 1.5km long and climbs 740m. The ferry stops here only on request.
