Close up of Cramm Mtn. I think the maze of mining roads were put there in the 1980s for access by a core drilling machine used to check for ore concentrations. The owners were attempting to get investors and hoped that the core samples would provide proof of large enough concentrations of gold and platinum to bring in investor money. Evidently they had no luck with the core samples because no further work was done to my knowledge.
