and just so you know; if you ever do this hike, they actually have a picnic table here. Anyway, there she is. Susan Creek Falls; a worthy destination. We were lucky to have the falls in full light. Susan Creek Falls is the first significant waterfall along the Umpqua River east of Glyde. A fairly easy .8 mile trail takes you to the base of this 50 foot waterfall. You can get up close to this waterfall if you wish. Large moss covered boulders lie at the base of the falls.
