I hadn't seen this in my previous visits. Newman is the most prominent peak in Pinal County. Not the high point ... just the most prominent. 10 of the 15 county high points are also the most prominent. Greenlee, Navajo, Yavapai, Pinal, and Gila are not. (Black Mesa is not included here due to it's status on the reservation)
