The large flat area in photo center was perhaps a location for dry land farming by the ancients. It seemed to be at the center of the many signs of habitation I have found in this area. There were pottery sherds scattered around the periphery. The large pueblo style ruin was on the west side and I would find two smaller ruins on the tops of hills overlooking this flat area on the east side.
