Well, I probably did the first human descent of that gully that was wall to wall cholla and prickly pear.
If your coming down that way, try to avoid that gully as much as possible.
As much as I love going off trail, after topping caridac gap, I was happy to see the trail again as I headed for Sabino Canyon via Esperero trail.
