Clothesline attached to tree...it was laying in the vinca, so I propped it up for this photo. When I first found this in 2003 or 2004, it was still up with a few clothespins, but it's hard to believe they could have dated to the Peterson period. (Years ago I found a ceramic insulator nearby, so perhaps the original purpose was a telephone line)
