The drive to Sears Point is rough, but a 2WD can make it if you're careful and don't slow down when you hit loose sand. Stay on the most used road and bear left when you're unsure; watch for high, black ridges to the left with a gap in them. You'll pass several homesteads (one of pueblo, several with RVs and U.S. flags flying, and one with an actual *boat* sitting high on a hillside on the left) as well as a road labeled "Bitch Blvd"; keep going and eventually you'll get to this parking lot. Watch out-- this is an active smuggling corridor! DON'T GO ALONE. Go armed if you can.
