I saw TONS of cattle on this hike... as well as: horses, deer, wild turkey, a herd of javelina, lizards, and birds. Unlike the past several hikes where I've experienced constant or frequent buzzing of bees, I was hardly buzzed on this one. And luckily, I did not encounter any snakes, bears, or mountain lions... although I ran over [w/o hitting] a medium-large sized snake which may well have been a rattler on the way home, about 10 miles after leaving the park].
