Upper blacketts is turning into a wheat field of non-native invasive Lehmann Lovegrass and Pappus Grass crowding out and taking away sunlight from natives. I often hear "oh look at the beautiful grasses in the sun" or similar and I'm sorry but I won't stop reporting about this when the local volunteer groups have all the resources except people to help. Saturday for public lands day I joined 30 others to remove 78 65-gallon bags of the two said weeds in the Bear bridge to dam area.
