Lycium plants with some berries were only found up on the top of the mesa. I'm assuming the inhabitants brought these berries/plants up here onto the mesa, because I didn't see any of these down around the base anywhere. These were grown into the rocks so well, I'm wondering if these are the decendents of the heirloom seeds that were brought up here to eat. There's room up on the mesa to have farmed these for their fruits.
