I was trying to keep an eye out for rattlesnakes having nearly stepped on one in my yard last week, but I had the treat of running into this little guy instead! This male Eastern Collared Lizard was rather entertaining and didn't seem to mind too much that I hung around for half an hour taking photos of him.
