Next, in the rain, we headed up to Jordan Pond for lunch. Jordan Pond House, the only full service restaurant within Acadia National Park. I had popovers and lobster stew. I haven't had popovers since I was a kid, over 1/2 century ago. Anyway, the color of the trees in the parking area was outstanding.... Prime, Prime, Prime! When you spend a lot of money to see fall color and learn how to photograph it, you can imagine my joy that I got way more than I paid for. Thank you Mother Nature! Anyway, there are some more great trails around Jordan Pond too.
