Those who are familiar with this Gateway Center Parking Lot know that it is really huge & will accommodate many vehicles;
When we arrived at 9:15am this busy Saturday we had a tough time finding a parking space. After talking to the Stewards on duty at our departure, they told us that between 8am to 10am they had 463 people pass through the entrance gate and between 10:am to 11:30am they had 489 people pass through.. Not a record as they have had as many as 600 visitors enter the park in a two hour period.. we can certainly vouch for the trails sections we were on being busy (to put it mildly).. lol
