Calumet Montana Refining in Great Falls is a pretty shot at night. And as usual, my moon shots are terrible. That's the moonstar in center.
The refinery has a crude oil throughput capacity of approximately 9,800 barrels per day with its crude oil feedstocks sourced primarily from Canada. The Refining Company engages in exploring, producing, refining, transporting, terminalling, and marketing conventional petroleum and natural gas in Montana. Since the 1960’s, Montana Refining Company has been the lead asphalt and asphalt related products supplier in the Great Falls area. They are also able to process heavy crude oil, which is transported to their site directly via a pipeline and railcar. Montana Refining Company was one of the last small, independent refineries in the United States but was bot out by Calumet in 2012.
