I came upon the middle two butterflies near the end of our hike, but one of them flew away as I approached. Shortly after leaving, the one that flew away came back, so I went back and got shots of two butterflies together. Then, as I walked away, a third came over to join the first two. As I photographed these three a blue-violet butterfly made its way into the picture as well. As we were watching them, we saw a fly bugging them, much the way flies do with other creatures. Thankfully, it left while I took this photo, as it really agitated the butterflies.
