We didn't know it but the storm we had last nite had sparked a fire over by Lake McDonald (Sprague fire that would take out the Sperry Chalet on Aug 31st. Over a million acres burned in the state this summer. I don't know how many total fires there were but it was on both sides of the state krtv.com/story/3625 ... tana. As I write this, they are getting snow and rain east and west.
