and a gnarly ocotillo for good measure. I'll share with you a story I shared on another site: I'll never forget when my mom had her house built in Scottsdale in 1981-82, the landscapers had laid two of these to be placed in her yard.... she was horrified. But we both grew to love this unusual desert plant.
