Old inscription at the edge of the trail. I have probably walked by this as many as 6 times without seeing it and probably would have missed it again if Jackie hadn't seen it. I have searched a couple of area history books for a possible name for this guy. Perhaps the engraving was done with the sharp end of a geologist's rock hammer.
