I recently discovered in that in the 80's Polaroid created a 35mm film for "instant" slide photos. It came with a chemical pack that rolls on to the exposed film in a little hand crank unit, you wait a couple minutes and wind it all back up and voila, you got developed photos. I found some expired in 1985 made for taking black and white photos for transparencies. The hand crank ended up breaking so I hand rolled it all together in the dark and it actually worked and seemed to fit the subject well.
