The loop makes it's way up past Hog Heaven, which are the really big rock formation just below the ridge line at the center of the photo. I then goes up past the Thumbnail Pinnacle, which pokes above the ridge just right of center. It eventually makes it's way to the East End, the highest point in the McDowells.
