I always think of this postcard when we are in the area. It's a postcard from my great grandma on my mom's side.
I don't think she was there as she was from Texas and not very wealthy; doubt she did much traveling.

Looks like it was a beautiful area for a Chalet. I was reading some excerpts via google about the Chalets. It was a fascinating time and to think of what might have been if all the Chalets were around. This particular Chalet wasn't the cat's meow but your dining experience had white linens. Apparently this Chalet was popular with fisherman. There was also a camp over at Red Eagle Lake which is on the other side of Triple Divide Pass. It would have been on the way to St Mary's Chalet. I didn't even know there was a St Mary's Chalet. It would be nice to see where it was. Of course the most awesome Chalet was the Sun Chalet.
