I encountered a couple from the Ukraine on a 4 night backpacking trip. They asked me to take their picture here with their camera and then returned the favor with my camera. They started up the trail ahead of me and about 20 minutes later I passed them. I mentioned to the lady that they had the honor of being the first hikers I had passed going up hill in 4 days of hiking. She gave me a very serious look and said "We had snacks". No sense of humor.
