This section is now easier to descend than ascend. There is a small ledge at the left, mostly out of frame, which is now difficult for most people to reach with their left foot. With a foot on that ledge, the move is to pull on the crack with the left hand while using opposition with the right hand on the other side. The move requires more of a push with the right hand than a pull with the left. In any case, the sand below has been eroded away by a few more inches, making that first left foothold a lot higher than it used to be.
