Despite what many believe about Elden as an ugly mountain, or one that is too urban, Mount Elden routinely has some exellent fall color. Even in years where the Peaks have failed due to winds blowing the leaves off the aspen, Elden seemed to keep it's color due to lower elevation, warmer temps, and maybe protected aspects.
