View across the top of Murphy Peak. There was evidence of a survey marker at the location shown on maps - a pile of rocks and some pieces of wire of the type used to hold up the wooden stakes often positioned around the marker. I spent about 20 minutes digging under the rocks searching for the marker with no luck.
