Stopped to talk to a couple fishing from the point that juts into the south end of the lake. The wife had caught these three trout - the largest was about 10 inches long. This small snake came swimming along and for some reason decided to bite the tail of one of the fish. It hung on when the lady lifted the fish out of the water and finally dropped off from a height of about 2 feet. Nothing like a little lake side entertainment to liven up the hike.
