One of the most amazing sights I’ve ever seen!
My theory and hope would be that the many manos were not collected and placed by an old cowboy since they are usually taken/gone but rather exactly how they laid from the ancient days.
Perhaps the many different styles and shapes of manos were used on the metate and that was their original placement of use and convenience.
