This major creek crossing can be a problem when the creek is running high. The old foot bridge collapsed years ago but on this day it was still usable. There were also some small logs across a narrow section of the creek. But neither of these would work with high water. The creek can also be waded where the horse trail crosses but again would be dangerous at high water levels.
