Looking north from Hoovey Canyon at the hills to the north of Pine Creek. When the Turkey Creek Caldera erupted it blew 120 square mile of ash and molten rock tens of miles in the air and came back down. these hills are the result covering much of southeast Arizona and Southwest New Mexico.
