While walking along this creek I spooked up a golden eagle that was on a rock by a pool of water in the creek. It flew toward me at my level. My first thought was; what is this guy doing, what did I do to make him mad. My next thought was get my camera, then it was should I duck is this guy going to swipe at me. No time to get the camera out which is too bad because it would of made a great picture. I could almost see the boogers in its nose (if they have noses and or boogers). The eagle ended up flying by just over my head about 5 feet up. The ironic thing is this same thing occurred a little further up the canyon but not nearly as close. Could of been the same bird.
