Looking for evidence of 4 adits of the Rosa Asbestos mining claims which are strung out along this old mining road. They were short adits which did not find high enough grade asbestos fibers (too short) to justify further mine development. I climbed up the hillside and followed a cut in the hill looking for the adits but did not find them. They were probably hidden in the brush on the hillside. My exertions soon exceeded my interest in finding them and we continued on up FR145 to the next adit.
