About 100 yards above Rock Saddle is the junction with the Bootlegger Trail. The Bootlegger and the Rock Creek Trail follow the same path for about 100 yards then the Rock Creek Trail continues up to the Chiricahua Crest Trail. The Bootlegger heads down to the Rattlesnake Trail. I will be heading down along the Bootlegger. I did the upper Bootlegger and the Upper Rock Creek Trail last summer.
