East bound train on the upper track. Talked to my neighbor who works at Southern Pacific and he said this upper track is referred to as the fast track, the lower being the slow track. The lower track was having one of the rails replaced. Also explained why they have to replace the rails every so often especially around curves. Way to lengthy to explain here but very interesting conversation with him though
