About 9 minutes after the previous photo I decided to go back into that room to get a closeup photo of the wall construction. After taking this photo I turned around and started to walk away when sneaky snake finally decided to give a warning rattle. The rattle was very short in duration and sounded a little like the zoom lens on my camera when it retracts. But the sound was coming from my right so I looked in that direction and finally saw the snake as it slithered into a hole in the rocks about 4 ft away. (next photo)
