After seeing this knob sticking up from the hillside and what appeared to be an easy route right up its middle, I decided to add it to my itinerary for the day. I found out that what looked like a gentle slope to the top was so steep that climbing on all fours was required in several places and each step had to be carefully placed to avoid sliding out of control back down the hill side. I ended up taking a route around the right side along the side of a small drainage.
